These slipper socks knit up quick as a wink! Inspired by our , we aimed for easy, cozy, and comfy. The heel is nice and neat, while a slip-stitch edging around the ankle finesses the finish! In 2 gauges, 3 widths, and easy-to-customize lengths, you can knit pairs for all your friends and family.

Plush, chunky-weight yields a wonderfully snuggly pair of Cozy Slipper Socks. A super-soft blend of extra fine merino and baby alpaca, Brushed Fleece is warm and insulating, yet remarkably light. And all that plump fluff means you’ll have cuddly slippers in no time!

The Details

FINISHED SIZES
Finished circumference: Approx. 8 (9, 10)"/20 (23, 25)cm around.
To fit: Approx. 9 (10, 11)"/23 (25)cm around ball of foot.
Length: Work sock to approx. ½"/1.5cm shorter than foot (see sidebar, page 2).

CHUNKY–WEIGHT VERSION

YARN
1 (2, 2) skein(s) (115 yds/105m), or approx. 115 (130, 145) yds/105 (119, 133)m of an equivalent chunky-weight yarn for up to 11"/28cm length. Note: To adjust length, add or subtract approx. 12 (13, 14) yds/m per knitted 1"/2.5cm, per pair.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 6 (4mm) set of 5 double-point needles, or size to obtain gauge.
1 locking marker.
Darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
Knit chunky-weight down to worsted gauge.
Approx. 20 sts = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch knitted flat, after blocking.
