The Design

“Fuzzy ribbing, fuzzy lace.”

A simple stitch pattern and a gorgeous yarn are all you need to express your personal style. We designed this generously scaled scarf in two widths. This version will elegantly slip over your shoulders and is versatile enough to tie any number of ways. However you wear it, this lacy scarf has cozy, modern wrapability.

We chose DK-weight Rowan for this version of our Ribbed Lace Scarf. Alpaca Classic has a cotton net at the core of its strand that captures an abundance of alpaca fuzz. As light as it is soft, Alpaca Classic also has a stunning palette of jewel-like colors!

FINISHED SIZE
Approx. 15 x 84"/38 x 213cm, after blocking.

Use "light lace-weight version" instructions with yarn held single throughout.

YARN
7 skeins (131 yds/120m ea), or approx. 917/838m DK-weight mohair yarn. Shown in Color 122, Dark Burgundy (discontinued).

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 5 (3.75mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge.
13 stitch markers.
Darning needle to finish.
Blocking wires and T-pins or forked blocking pins.

GAUGE
Approx. 22 sts = 4"/10cm in pattern, after blocking.
